Our new Chalet Piz da Peres is situated in an idyllic, very sunny location in Geiselsberg, right next to Kronplatz ski resort, South Tyrol’s best skiing mountain. In Geiselsberg, you can put on your skis almost as soon as you step out the door – the small village is located right next to the Kronplatz ski slopes, a resort boasting no fewer than 32 state-of-the-art lifts and 119 km of perfectly groomed ski slopes. This is the ideal ski resort for families with children, but also holds plenty of challenges for proficient skiers and snowboarders. The valley stations for the various ski lifts up to Kronplatz ski resort are located just 800 m from Chalet Piz da Peres, just below Geiselsberg in the hamlet of Gassl, also famed for its sparkling après ski parties.

Cross-country skiers will enjoy the sun-kissed trail in Olang or the biathlon centre in Antholz. There are also various excellent cross-country trails in Gsieser Valley. Ski tours, ice-skating, horse-drawn sledge rides, ice climbing, curling, unforgettable winter hikes and snow shoe hikes in the Dolomites and typical après ski parties offer plenty of variety for those who fancy an alternative to skiing.
And remember, no skiing holiday is complete without a visit to the Christmas market in Bruneck or the Messner Mountain Museums “RIPA” in Bruneck Castle and “CORONES” on the summit of the Kronplatz!
